Come and Gone-So Sad!!!!

Christmas has already come and gone with all the magic and excitement. This year we dragged it out for 3 days. It was so fun. We had Christmas eve with Heather and Trever's family and that was so fun with sub sandwiches, salads, relishes and games. Christmas morning was celebrated with all the excitement of Little Lizzy. It was so fun to watch her open her presents and be sohappy and excited. When I called the other kids to see what they got, you could just hear the excitement in their voices. We went to some of their houses to see their stash and they were all pretty darn good. Of course, I have perfect grandchildren you know, so Santa would surely bring them all what they wanted.
Christmas day was spent with Heather, Trever, Christopher and Lindsay's families. We ate, played, ate, slept, played and ate some more. And, of course we stayed up way late laughing and having a good time after the kids went to bed. Then, on Sunday we had our biggest day with everyone in the family. There is 27 of us now and we all packed into our house with just as much fun and excitement as if it was Christmas day. This was the day that everyone exchanged gifts and everyone got their presents from us. It was a wonderful time and we had lots of fun. Of course, Grandma and Grandpa gave all the grandkids new pajamas and they had to all put them on. I didn't get a picture of all of them, but they looked pretty dang cute. We played games and laughed and visited and just enjoyed being together. I am kind of sad that it is over and I am back to work today, but the memories will last forever. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and that the New Year will be good for you and your families. Love to all!

The "ORR" Deal

This last Saturday night was our 'BIG" Orr Christmas party. My family was in charge of it and they did a super job. We decided to have a Christmas birthday party because it was my Dad"s 100th birthday this past year. We have over 200 in just him and Mom's posterity. We had a great turnout and lots of food and fun. We served turkey, salads, baked beans, rolls, relishes and dip, and deserts. And of course Santa was there. We had some great minute to win it games and some hilarious skits. We involved a lot of people and it was so fun and they were great sports. I want to thank all my kids, grandkids, and husband for doing such an awesome job. I had to work most of the day and they just did what needed to be done and it was beautiful. I even had to shed a few tears when I seen my Dad's birthday table and all of the decorations. It is so great to be part of a large wonderful family. I love you all!
